Nik Makino Concert

     I was there in the Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo City to watch Nik Makino perform. The energy of the crowd was charged up because we all looked forward to his performance with bated breath. When Nik Makino went up on stage, the crowd just erupted into shouts and applause. His music filled the atmosphere, and everybody grooved and sang in unison with his songs. The energetic mood of the festival increased the excitement, creating the evening even more unique. By the end of his performance, I sensed I was thrilled and thankful to have been part of such an incredible occasion.

Opening Salvo

     As we expose ourselves in the opening salvo for the celebration of the Dinagyang Festival with Tribu Pag-asa Kang Manduryaw, I feel the ambiance of excitement. I am dressed up as a ninja turtle to take my location as one of the dancers and different areas for street dance and freedom grandstand. The rhythmic beats of drums and energetic harmony fill the atmosphere with the mood of celebration. We dance in perfect synchronization as one of the dancers, presenting our rehearsed dances. The crowd applauds excitedly, mesmerized by the energy and passion of the performance. Our opening salvo means the beginning of a grand festival, honoring tradition and community.
